Overview (From Wikipedia) Quote: Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) is a brilliant college dropout. Mike's childhood dreams of becoming a lawyer was derailed after he was caught selling a math exam to the Dean's daughter. Naturally intelligent and with an eidetic memory, Mike makes a living taking tests for other people, particularly LSATs. Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) is one of New York City's top attorneys who has recently been promoted to senior partner at his firm, and is forced by company policy to hire an associate. After an accidental interview with Mike, Harvey is impressed by the younger man's quick wits, his encyclopedic knowledge of the law, and his genuine desire to be an attorney, and hires him. Due to the fact that Mike lacks a law degree, and because the firm prefers Harvard alumni, they both pretend that Mike is a Harvard graduate. At the firm, Mike is continuously hounded by junior partner Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Harvey's jealous rival. Mike is eventually befriended by Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle), a paralegal, whose test anxiety has prevented her from attending law school, and the two soon develop a mutual attraction. Mike and Harvey often come into conflict over Mike's naivet and ethical scruples and Harvey's hard charging and seemingly uncaring demeanor. Trailer from the pilot I'm really surprise no one posted about that show. It deliver so far (watch S01 ep1->3). Caracters are interresting and will have a good developpement I'm sure. It's not just an other attorneys tv show with boring technical stuff that I don't understand (like urgence for the nurse fans..) Big Thanks to Llewela for advertising me this show

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3079768/ God has left and angels have gone to war against humanity. The series is based on the movie "Legion". Main character is played by the same guy that played David in the show "Kings" (a very cool modern take on the bible story about king David). So far it's not worthless. Acting is really good and the show might actually work. I am of course as always scared that the writers will not be able to keep it tight, focused and clever.

    True Detective

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2356777/ Just came across this, getting really good ratings on imdb. So gonna give it a go. Also, Matthew & Woody!
  16. This show starts off pretty slow. But before season one ends the lead has been shot out of a cannon and into the sun. Well, not so much a cannon as a rollercoaster of shit and not so much the sun as a downward spiral of violence and despair. Also, the show has nudity and scenes from the isle of lesbos. Not sure if this should be a warning or a selling point... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nryWkAaWjKg
  17. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2395695/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 A documentary series that explores how we discovered the laws of nature and found our coordinates in space and time. A modern take on the 1980 series Cosmos by Carl Sagan. This time narrated and presented by Neil deGrasse Tyson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBTd9--9VMI Definitely worth the watch.

I didn't see this show around this section yet.. If you haven't seen it, take a look, I really enjoyed it so far... Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) is a former White House Communications Director for the President of the United States who has left to start her own crisis management firm, Olivia Pope & Associates. Olivia has decided to dedicate her life to protecting the public images of the nation's elite but is finding that no matter how hard she tries, she cannot leave parts of her past behind. Olivia Pope & Associates' staff includes Harrison Wright (Columbus Short), a smooth and efficient litigator; Abby Whelan (Darby Stanchfield), the firm's investigator; Huck (Guillermo Diaz), a hacker with a Central Intelligence Agency past; and recent recruit Quinn Perkins (Katie Lowes), a fresh faced lawyer with a secret. Another former employee of Pope and Associates was Pope's good friend, Stephen Finch (Henry Ian Cusick), a suave detective who was never really tied down to anything. Cusick, known particularly for his role in the U.S. television series Lost, left the show after one season. S1 trailer: http://youtu.be/8tcB_JzDoJM

    The Wire

This is an old one, but it's one of the best shows EVER made. If you like cop shows with a good story and fair amount of realism, this is for sure the best show ever! It might have been posted here already, and most of you probably know the show... Bur if I can reach 1 person that hasn't seen it yet this way, the world will be a better place! Story for S1: Set in Baltimore, this show centers around the city's inner-city drug scene. It starts as mid-level drug dealer, D'Angelo Barksdale beats a murder rap. After a conversation with a judge, Det. James McNulty has been assigned to lead a joint homicide and narcotics team, in order to bring down drug kingpin Avon Barksdale. Avon Barksdale, accompanied by his right-hand man Stringer Bell, enforcer Wee-Bey and many lieutenants (including his own nephew, D'Angelo Barksdale), has to deal with law enforcement, informants in his own camp, and competition with a local rival, Omar, who's been robbing Barksdale's dealers and reselling the drugs. The supervisor of the investigation, Lt. Cedric Daniels, has to deal with his own problems, such as a corrupt bureaucracy, some of his detectives beating suspects, hard-headed but determined Det. McNulty, and a blackmailing deputy. The show depicts the lives of every part of the drug "food chain", from junkies to dealers, and from cops to politicians. Trailer:

Well made, exiting, fun spy series focusing on Sam Hunter. Photo was nice, acting was great, and the story was more or less believable. I came in with very very low expectations and came out wanting to follow the series. Good job Great Britain!

    Jersey Shore

Jersey Shore is a reality television series on MTV that follows eight housemates spending their summer on the Jersey Shore. The first season was filmed in August 2009 in a summer share in Seaside Heights but was also filmed in other towns such as Toms River, Neptune and Atlantic City, New Jersey. The show debuted amid large amounts of controversy regarding the use of the words "Guido/Guidette", portrayals of Italian-American stereotypes and scrutiny from locals because the cast members were not residents of the area. The theme song featured in the opening credits is "Get Crazy" by LMFAO. Following the success of the first season, MTV announced in January 2010 that a second season consisting of 12 episodes had been ordered and would air that summer. It would follow all of the first season cast as they escape the cold northeast and find themselves in Miami. The second season premiered on July 29, 2010. On July 20, 2010, MTV announced that the entire cast, with the exception of Angelina, would return for a third season to be shot back in Seaside Heights, New Jersey and scheduled to air later. MTV has since exported the series to dozens of countries worldwide. high class dialogues: NO testosterone bombs: YES scripted: YES drunk people fighting and cheating: YES watched the first season and the episodes that are out from season 2. i found it quite entertaining although it will probably no go down in history as a must watch
