BDO is changing to selfpublishing in EU as some of you may know.

This means they are transfering the old characters to a new server park... Which means if you don't apply to get yours moved, it will be gone and lost forever.

Final date to apply is 24th of February.

This kept popping up, i gave up, I was loged in everywhere, they gave me the list of chars, all was good and dandy. But could not get past this.

What does this mean, and how has the community reacted? 

If I remember correctly the publisher was... Kakao? 

And now it will be Pearl Abyss self publishing? 

 

Does it have any implications for the game? 

 

Just curious, since I'm not playing (and my char got banned so nothing to lose )

if i remember we all were on "web accounts". Game was availlable on steam after we started. Your account is linked on web one.

After a few months of selfpublishing, at least me and the majority of my little community seem to agree it's been fucking ace for the game.

The updates makes more sense, come quicker, they react more, have better communication through content creators, more events, more goodie and quicker balance changes. Kunasha agree? Disagree? Add?

Dead ass serious, if you start the game now, as a Season character, just follow the suggested progression in the season pass and enhance the gear youg et along the way, you are going to be pretty viable for the start of endgame. Not bleeding edge obviously, I'm fairly well geared now ( https://bdoplanner.com/CobwebArcienLucien ) and still get wrecked sometimes, especially on Arsha (PVP) server... Where I'm going now:
