Chairs

Recommended Posts

Anyone got any opinions on nice PC chairs? I don't care if they are flashy looking or simple looking. Just want a chair which is good for my posture, with quality armrests.

I don't care about spending a few dollars on one. Fed up of buying 70 euro chairs and them dying after a few years. Hoping to get more years out of a better investment.

I'm looking at GT and AK chairs currently, anyone got one and can offer an opinion?

For GT I am looking at the Pro / Sport models mostly.

For AK I am looking Prime / Nitro mostly.

I also remember Someone anyone getting some fancy chairs before.

... seems to be that period where everything starts breaking. Moinitor and Chair so far. Wondering what will complete the set of three. :P

Yeh agree with Cog - Noble chairs (sell them at overclockers in the UK). That will be my next purchase. Fastas also has one so they must be strong ;)

There is also the option of a reconditioned office chair for a little bit more, but you really need to get one with a high back if you want to game in it

Thanks guys!

After conversations online and your recommendations. I have 3 peeps talking up Noblechairs and 4 peeps talking up AK. Now I need to work out something towards deciding between them. :D

How long have you had your chair Cog? Kept it shape well?

After looking into it further. Seems the AK chairs which are of a similar price to noble's EPIC chair at 300 do not have 3D armrests (or even 3D). Being able to change the angle on the arms when I am using my drawing pad would be great!

One would have to go all the way up to the Pro X at 419 euro to get that with AK.

Might have made a decision here... :P

To quote someone I once liked.

Most people just go buy a chair. And you know... have a chair.

Get a chair already. This thread is like two days old.

Oh wow, I'll take you back Lyngs once you processed these new emotions you have for me.

I ordered everything about 30 minutes ago. Went with the EPIC chair. Cause, epic?

More by the 350 and a headrest attachment. It's double the price, but for long days sitting it would be far better than the straight back that other gaming chairs come with

The noble comes with two extra pillow thingies, one for lower back and one for neck/head.

I think all these gaming chairs come with that, or?

Yup that thing, it is fully adjustable, rather than just height, recline and arms. It's designed for sitting with correct posture and upright for a long time and based on a proper office chair, rather than spending a couple of hours relaxing back into a chair like the racing style.

The head rest attachment is another 70 quid, but is also fully adjustable.

I think for doing actual work, the racing style isn't really that ergonomic. Yeah you get 2 cushions, but you can't really tailor them to your own body

I have a KAB Director one!

Had it on my work and had to get one to my home...

Best seating ever its like a nice car chair.. try one at a store. Ususly find em in expensive office dealers.

Looks like something I should have. How tall are you Pyen? Does it support your lower back?

It does say that it has air lumbar support, so you should be able to adjust it to your back in a few pumps

I'm 180 and you have tons of stuff to fibble with, there is a pump that fills lower section. It takes time to adjust (I took help from the company who sold it to adjust after my size)

I had a long talk to my gf (Anna) about getting this expensive thing, the time you spent in it makes up for the comfort and no more backproblems... atleast for me!

But again try fins a reseller near you to realy try one first.. and make the staff adjust it for you 8)

Cheers. It do like the look of the frame. All I am thinking of is a cold back though. I had a mesh seat on the seat before my current one. It was comfy and a good chair for the money. But coooold.

I actually prefer a slightly straighter back also. The chair Pyen linked with a pump in it sounds next level amazing though so you can get the lower back just right, cause we're all a little different! :)

I do prefer fake leather though cause its easier to clean and I'm a messy fucker getting crumbs everywhere!
