I think it's rather enjoyable aswell, though i get kinda borred after an hour and go play something else. I do not see myself playing 170 hours in 2 weeks.

Also, I wish i would be able to play 170 hours in 2 weeks XD

I started like that, but then the game kinda clicked for me, and I was just lost. Might not happen to everyone though, to each their own, but I got it bad :)

Also, if you people find yourself feeling generous, go donate some materials for crafting various stuff at the dojo :), me and Dansul is rocking the contribution but its hard to keep up alone :P

Is it primarily research-stuff we're focusing on? So I know where to go and drop the mats.

For those new:

Once you join the clan, and build the clan dojo key (recepie aquired automatically when you join a clan, but you need to build the actual key in your Foundry in your ship, takes 12h) you can access the dojo/guild hall from the star chart.

The dojo supplies 2 major things:

1) A trading post - Located in the big room you spawn into, off one of the sides. You use this for... TRADING (surprise). Using a trading post is the only way to trade.

2) Clan research - A clan "builds" technology, and all the members can make blue print copies of that technology. You do this from rooms in the dojo called Labarotatories, and there's a couple different ones. I won't list them all, but there's A LOT of weapons and frames which can ONLY be gotten through reserach.

In total here's what you can buy blueprints for:

5 Warframes

78 Weapons

2 Companions

3 Archwings

4 Archwing weapons

4 Medium x10 Boosters (basically group pots for shields, health, energy and ammo)

Might be forgetting something, but those are the main ones.

As Muuman says the clan needs to BUILD these things, before members can make blueprint copies. Or, well, the clan doesn't rly "build" them, it kinda builds a master blueprint rather, which we can then copy. But every single master blueprint we build takes resources, which we need to put in.

Some of the things are also built in tech-trees. So to build a certain weapon the clan MIGHT need to build like 3-4 weapons before it etc. Just good to know.

you also buy reusable blueprints for keys that open missions and doors in those missions

i watched some of these videos to get to know shit

Ah, yes, those as well.

Dragon keys/Running vaults is a pretty damn good way of earning steady plats, as long as you got the mats to craft them. You can do these runs very quick in a focused group, and they award mods which sell for 10-20p each. Someone in a post mentioned expected return is like 200p per hour, but I can neither confirm nor deny that myself.

We've done a few hours of this last night, being four of us, we had a 100% chance to get a room every time. I'd say if we sold all mods, we'd probably ended up on around 100-120p per person

Yeah, maybe the posts mentioning 200p per hour are old, or well, people got lucky. There's definitely a few of those corrupted mods that sell for ~20-30p, Blind Rage, Narrow Mind, Transient Fortitude etc, but then again there are also corrupted mods selling at 2-3 plat (basically hardly selling).

But still, with a team who has some ok synergy (nothing extreme, just 1 EV Trin and 1 Speed Volt who can give the entire group super runspeed) a capture mission shouldn't take more than 2-3 minutes, with loading times, finding the vault etc we can make it 5, so should be able to bang out about 12 runs per hour at least?

Depending how many hours ofc 100-120p is still not terrible. I mean, that's more or less a prime warframe (Depending on frame ofc) if you buy the set from a player.

Once you get a bit of MR, and start doing all the activities in the game (Eidolons, ESO, Radiant relic cracking) you CAN convert a loooot of it to platinum, IF you wanna F2P it all. I'm probably getting 50-200+p per day just from random drops, a good mod here, a weapon bp there, some arcanes. Like the stuff I get while looking for other stuff.

Right now I'm not selling much, but I potentially could if I was inclined. And I'm not saying anyone should focus on getting plat, it's not NEEDED, it's just one way to play the game :)

Updated OP with a list of helpful links I often use.

Warframe Hub - Lists timers for stuff, active missions, bounties in Cetus, which Alerts are active etc etc. I keep this up on my second screen basically all the time.

https://hub.warframestat.us/

Warframe market - A marketplace for players. Make a account and you can post stuff, if you just wanna buy no account needed. With a account you can place BUY ORDERS, this can save you 10-30% of the price. Very easy to use, search for what you need, press a button and you get a copypaste string you just paste inside Warframe with a ready tell to the person selling.

https://warframe.market/

Tenno Zone - Nice "planner" function if you wanna farm for specific drops from relics. Tells you which relics drops stuff, and where to farm the relics most efficient.

https://tenno.zone/

Warframe Reddit - Just a forum, and you'll probably be surprised how amazingly friendly this community is. Forget the cesspool that's reddit in other games  :)

https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/

Official forums – A personal favourite is the "Players helping Players" forum. I browse it often just to catch questions other are asking, which is usually stuff I wonder about as well. Very informative and helpful.

https://forums.warframe.com/

All Resource best Farm Locations 2018 - Just a forum post, and I can't guarantee it's 100% reliable, but I always check if when I forget where some resource drops.

https://forums.warfr...-location-2018/

Weapons required as crafting ingredients - Don't sell some weapon you crafted if it can be used to create something new!

http://warframe.wiki...ing_Ingredients

Warframe Wiki - Amazing. Just amazing. Has more or less all the info you can ask for. Active discussions in MOST of the entries as well, so don't forget to scroll down and check what people are talking about regarding what you searched for.

Some beginner friendly links I've got open not included above:

Reddit's welcome back/returning player link list

https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/7nhf3n/meta_new_or_returning_player_welcome_back_to

From that list, the beginner's guide is the easiest to understand that I've found

http://metadragon.de/warframe-beginners-guide

That guy also has a weapon's list that is pretty useful

Damn you we're right... I really didn't expect me liking this game this much. Can't seem to stop playing it now.

Just a bit of a shame so few people join TS.

I tend to join TS once kids are in bed. During the day I might be logged in a lot, but not actually at the PC, or if I am I have it running through a bluetooth speaker

I'm hanging on discord most of the time, tho not in the ginnunga one unless we hook up for some runs.

Side note... God damn, the quality of the quests from second dream, war within, chains of harrow is fucking amazing..... During chains of harrow I had goosebumps several times. So worth doing these quests and hell even playing the game just for those :-D

Yupp :D

For anyone who's not done Chains of Harrow: USE HEADPHONES. Seriously. Try it. +100% immersion value. They use sound in interesting ways, not gonna spoil or say anything else.

Why are you off in a Discord of your own while playing a game where we have a clan? Doesn't it kinda defeat the purpose? :)
