Ginnunga used to have a faction on Bloodhoof Alliance side. This section was started by Gwarg and Yolianne. The guild was active from fall 2005 untill summer 2007 when the guild was disbanded to merge with Axiom Knights into Chimera.
The guild was successful in raiding and had a long alliance with another guild called Nightfall from winter 2005 until late summer 2006.
After the alliance Ginnunga continued to make very good raiding progress alone and cleared BWL, most of AQ40 and started on Naxxramas before The Burning Crusade expansion.
After the expansion progress continued but regular problems with attendance occured during the summer of 2007. At this time Gwarg has stopped playing due to moving in RL and Dendil had taken over as guildleader. To remedy these problems the guild was merged with Axiom Knights who were in a simmilar position.
The merge has been very successful and the progress has continued strongly.
